For Guidance and Forgiveness
Here is a well-known Muslim prayer called the Dua (supplication) for Guidance and Forgiveness, often recited for general protection, guidance, and seeking forgiveness from Allah. It is short but meaningful:
O Allah, guide me with those whom You have guided, pardon me with those whom You have pardoned, turn to me in friendship with those upon whom You have turned in friendship, bless me in what You have bestowed, protect me from the evil You have decreed, for indeed You decree and none can influence You, and none can humiliate whom You have befriended. Blessed are You, our Lord, and Exalted.
This prayer is a heartfelt plea for guidance, blessings, and protection, often recited after the obligatory prayers or at times when a person feels the need to seek Allah’s help and mercy.
